Super Week! Super Pictures!

February 4, 2013

Elder Molina and I
Hello! Well, to recap what we did last week for pday.... we went to a couple of different places because it was Elder Cayoja`s last pday. First, we went up to La Popa (Church up on a hill) and took some pictures, ran around the church, and hopped back into the taxi. We were only up there for about 20 minutes- just to take pictures, but while we were there we saw a huge cruise ship at the dock and a ton of Americans. It was weird seeing white people there!

After La Popa, we booked it down to the walls of Cartagena and walked on those for a while and around the town.  Then we went to the beach to take more pictures. All in all super fun day, but my toes we killing me after all of that running around. Tuesday I didn`t leave the house, and yes I watched 17 Miracles again. We had transfers on Wednesday and....... I`m still here in my same area! Alpes 1 Cartagena! But I did get a new comp. His name is Elder Ortiz and he`s from Barranquilla. He originally was serving in Bogota but was transferred because of some medicals problems, (the altitude was bad for him) so he`s serving here now, but he`s a really good missionary. I'm still getting to know him..... so that`s it for him.
This week we had some really good lessons. One of our investigators, Janeth, is doing super awesome and we had a lesson with her and a couple in our ward and it was super awesome! Also, on Saturday she came to a baptism of some other missionaries and really liked it.

I also had another amazing experience. We were walking around on Saturday and we didn`t have a lesson planned, so I really wanted to find this guy ,Domingo, one our old investigators. He was super awesome with the lessons, but in December he moved and we had no idea where he went. We passed by his friends house on Saturday and Domingo was there!!! I was sooo happy! Now we`re going to be teaching him again! Super pumped.

Today(p-day) we didn`t do anything. I just slept in a hammock for about 2 hours (super exciting). Hopefully next week we`re going to go the Castillo. Oh, also when we had transfers, the comp of elder Anderson was still in the office because he had a surgery done, so a mini-missionary came with us for the week. The kid`s name is William and he speaks English. He went to a bilingual school so a ton of the time we were talking English with him. He`s going to friend request me on Facebook so whoever is controlling mine right now, accept him and you can talk with him.

Ya, that`s about it. Pretty good week, should be getting letters and packages this week so I`ll let you know what I get!

Love you all! Abrazos y besos!
